Kia Soul’s Best Buy Award and the New NiroBot
Kia has been killing it this year. Throughout 2016, they have won awards, released new innovative models, and they even had some pretty nifty vehicles to show off at SEMA this year . However, they’re not stopping anytime soon, seeing as how they just won another award and are continuing to reach out to their consumers.
2017 Kia Soul Earns Best Buy Award from Consumer Guide Automotive
The 2017 Kia Soul was introduced just in time for the 2017 Consumer Guide Automotive Awards. Being a part of the subcompact car segment, it went home with the Best Buy award – for the third year in a row! This is a shout out to the past when earlier this very year, Kia received the number one spot in ranking during the J.D. Power and Associates Quality Study.
News about the turbocharged 2017 Kia Soul already made a lot of noise, and has a lot of people looking towards its release. The turbocharged engine option will be available on the 2017 Kia Soul Exclaim (!), and if it stays close to the Soul Exclaim’s current starting MSRP of $21,300, it will be an absolute steal. The new engine produces 201-horsepower, and it has a combined fuel economy of 28 mpg.
The new Soul engine will help the Soul to continue to be a favorite among consumers. After ranking no. 1 in the J.D. Power study, Michael Sprague, the COO of Kia Motors America made it clear that Kia is always looking to improve their products. “Ranking [No. 1] in the entire industry for initial quality is the result of Kia’s decade-long focus on craftsmanship and continuous improvement, and reflects the voice of our customers , which is the ultimate affirmation,” Sprague stated.
Kia Niro Bot
For those who weren’t aware, Kia is coming out with a brand new compact SUV, the Kia Niro. It debuted at SEMA, and the new vehicle has adrenaline enthusiasts excited with all of implementations it has for equipment storage and comfort. Plus, they’re calling it a “Hybrid Utility Vehicle” or the Kia Niro Hybrid .
To give potential consumers a chance to experience the Niro Hybrid Crossover before it hits the streets, Kia has gone old school. Does anyone remember SmarterChild, the A.I. bot people could talk to via the old AOL and MSN instant messenger apps? Many say it’s what spawned personal assistants like Apple’s Siri and Microsoft’s Cortana. Well, Kia has launched the Kia Niro Bot for Facebook Messenger as a way to introduce the new vehicle. It’s a way to connect with Millennials and those of us who are computer savvy.
What better way for Kia to connect with its consumers than to introduce an A.I. program that can tell us all about their new automobile? It’s a smart move, and you can test out the NiroBot right now!
