The 2024 Kia Soul lineup remains the same, made up of the LX, S, GT-Line, and EX trims. There are no changes to the powertrain, a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, able to generate 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque, paired with an intelligent variable transmission (IVT).
Fuel Economy
The fuel economy is pretty much the same across all trims – 28 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. The EX trim has a slight variation of 29/35 mph city/highway. It’s all thanks to the IVT.

Exterior Features
The 2024 Kia Soul, kept many of its standard features from 2023, including automatic headlamps and multi-reflector headlights, rear privacy glass, solar control glass, and heated rear glass. Consumers will find heated side mirrors on the EX and GT-Line trims, with LED headlights, tail lights, and fog lights available on the GT-Line trim, along with LED turn signal indicators on the side mirrors. The standard wheel size is 16-inches, followed by the GT-Line on 18-inch sport alloy wheels, and the 17-inch alloy wheels as the standard for the EX trim.
Interior Features
Seating has changed quite a bit this year. The LX trim still comes with a 6-way manually adjustable driver’s seat – a 4-way manually adjustable front passenger seat is the lineup standard – but for the 2024 Kia Soul, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with 2-way lumbar support is standard on the S and EX, optional on the GT-Line. 60/40 split-folding rear seats are also a lineup standard. Past the base trim, the 2024 Kia Soul comes with dual-zone auto climate control, heated front seats and LED interior lighting are standard on the EX trim (optional add-on for the GT-Line). The GT-Line and EX trims come with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear shift knob. The standard upholstery is woven cloth, followed by a SynTex/cloth combination for the GT-Line, and Tricot seat trim for the EX trim.

The 2024 Kia Soul comes with an 8-inch touchscreen as the standard display for the LX trim, whereas the rest of the lineup comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen display. Although past the base trim, the 2024 Kia Soul comes with Kia Connect and navigation, all trims come with Apple CarPlay, Google Android Auto, Bluetooth wireless technology, steering wheel-mounted audio with phone and cruise control buttons, HD Radio, a six-speaker sound system, and a rear-view monitor. Past the base trim, SiriusXM Satellite Radio and a wireless phone charger are also included. Only the GT-Line can upgrade to a Harman Kardon premium 10-speaker sound system.
Safety Features and Warranty
The 2024 Kia Soul comes with many basic safety features, including dual front advanced airbags, dual front seat-mounted side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, a rollover sensor, an anti-lock brake system, stability and traction control systems, a rear occupant alert system, rear-camera display, and LATCH child-seat ready anchors. As far as advanced safety features go, blind-spot collision avoidance and rear cross-traffic-avoidance assist are standard past the LX trim, but optional for the LX trim. Lineup standards include forward collision-avoidance with pedestrian and cyclist detection (plus junction turning option for the GT), lane departure warning, lane keep assist, lane change assist, intelligent speed limit assist, and a driver attention warning system. Only the GT can add navigation-based smart cruise control with stop & go plus curve detection and highway driving assist.
