Highlights for 2023 Mitsubishi Motors Lineup
We’re still in 2022, but automakers are known to start releasing 2023 models, or 2023 model info around this time and way in advance. Mitsubishi Motors is a prime example of this. Only August 2022, and information about the 2023 lineup has been released, highlighting new features and performance options after the revival of Ralliart . Check out what’s new for the 2023 Mitsubishi lineup.
2023 Outlander
After being released as a new generation model in 2022, the 2023 Outlander achieved the best four consecutive retail sales quarters since its initial release 20 years ago. Winning awards and changing the way consumers look at Mitsubishi models, the model will be expanding with a 40th Anniversary special edition later this year, plus a new Ralliart edition in early 2023. Also in 2023, the popular Black Edition will be made available on both the SE and SEL trim. For the first-time ever, Mitsubishi Motors will offer a black-roof factory option. Lastly, rear-door pull-up sunshades are now standard on the SEL trim, previously only available with the Touring package, and SE models also come with electric folding mirrors for MY23.
2023 Outlander Sport
Following a pattern, most Mitsubishi models, mainly the SUVs and Crossover(s), were released as a new generation model. The Outlander Sport has been one of Mitsubishi Motors best-selling models for many years, and this year calls for more adventure. Equipped standard with Mitsubishi’s All-Wheel Control (AWC), the Outlander Sport can handle various types of terrain and offer all-wheel drive. Like the Outlander, a Ralliart limited-edition will be released in 2023.
2023 Outlander PHEV
The Outlander PHEV has been a success overseas for over a decade, and came to America several years ago. Proving the high-performance and electric motors go together, the Outlander PHEV comes with Mitsubishi Super All-Wheel Control. Released as a next generation model, a new generation of Mitsubishi Motors’ twin-motor 4WD PHEV system will be powering this plug-in hybrid SUV with more powerful front and rear motors and a larger drive battery. With seven driver-selectable drive modes, consumers can find a style that matches their preference(s). Standard is Mitsubishi Connect with a two-year trial, the new Mitsubishi infotainment found in Outlander and Outlander PHEV models starting MY2023. This comes with the convenient option of remote start for cooling down or heating up the vehicle before entering.
2023 Eclipse Cross
With a mid-model refresh, the 2023 Eclipse Cross gets a revised interior, updated infotainment system, and rides on an all-new 18-inch wheel design. 2023 adds head- and fog-lights as standard equipment across the lineup for every model. Other standard equipment added includes Mitsubishi Motors’ signature S-AWC all-wheel drive system. Like other trims, a Ralliart-branded special edition will be made available in early 2023.
2023 Mirage and Mirage G4
Sadly, Mitsuishi Motors doesn’t seem to be releasing new generation models of the Mirage or Mirage G4 for MY23. Known as America’s most fuel-efficient non-hybrid, gasoline-fueled vehicle, the Mirage continues to be reliable for miles and years to come. This is thanks to Mitsubishi Motors warranty package, one of the industry’s best. All Mitsubishi vehicles are covered by a basic limited warranty for 5 years/60,000 miles, a powertrain limited warranty for 10 years/100,000 miles, 7 years or 100,000 miles of anti-corrosion coverage, and roadside assistance. In 2023, the hatchback will get its own Ralliart edition added to the lineup.
Ralliart
After Ralliart was revived, there was a lot of talk about a possible EVO nameplate returning, but so far, that’s not happening. Instead, Ralliart was brought back as an aftermarket name for unique body effects, graphics and other rally-inspired touches consumers can purchase and add to their Mitsubishi vehicles. All Ralliart models above will be available in White Diamond paint with a black roof, and only a limited number of units will be produced. Looking for the newest Mitsubishi models on the market.
