Kia Unveils new Nightfall Edition for Telluride SUV

Summer is here and things are just starting to heat up. Yeah, you know it South Florida, and it’s going to be a hot one this year. Things don’t cool down much when the sunsets either, but Kia Motors is planning to bring some chill to the summer this year anyways with the upcoming 2020 Kia Telluride Nightfall Edition. It’s about time the Kia Telluride got its own special edition vehicle, with all of the awards and accolades tied to the name, the Kia Telluride is the largest SUV in the Kia Motors lineup and is known by many.

The most recent success for the 2020 Kia Telluride was being named the 2020 NEMPA Winter SUV of the Year by the New England Motor Press Association (NEMPA) during their annual Winter Vehicle Driving Event. This award is among being named MotorTrend’s SUV of the Year, “North American Utility Vehicle of the Year”, and Car and Driver’s 10 Best, earning the Telluride the “Triple Crown” of Automotive Awards , as well as being named World Car of the Year. Like we said, it’s about time the SUV got a new special edition of its own.

The Nightfall Edition adds some serious style and attitude to the already glamorous Kia Telluride. Gloss black elements which give the Telluride a more sophisticated look with gloss black roof rails, gloss black greenhouse trim/lower door side molding, gloss black skid plates, gloss black front bumper side air-duct garnish, gloss black emblems, including unique “Kia” logos. These all pair nicely with any of the available paint jobs – Snow White Pearl, Everlasting Silver, Gravity Gray, Ebony Black, Sangria, Black Copper, Dark Moss, and Wolf Gray, a new addition specifically for the Nightfall Edition. A newly designed radiator grill in black finish, LED headlamps and fog lamps with black inner bezel, and 20-inch wheels in black finish with black lug nuts and center caps are also included with this package.

The Kia Telluride Nightfall Edition will be available on the Telluride EX with all-wheel drive (AWD) (with Premium package), SX AWD, and SX Prestige package. Arriving in showrooms somewhere between now (July 2020) and the end of the year, this new appearance package for the Kia Telluride is right around the corner. No pricing has been released yet. We’re also still waiting on some of the concepts we saw from Kia Motors at the 2018 SEMA Auto Show . The automaker showed up with five Kia Telluride concepts to show off the capabilities of the SUV, but it wouldn’t hurt to sell a premade Telluride for going off-road, or mudding, or riding around in the desert – you know, adventure!
