Kia Motors Extends their Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Program

Recently, Kia Motors announced that it will be extending its “Certified Pre-Owned” (CPO) program and Branded Product Program with the JM&A Group for several more years. The JM&A Group is a leader in the automotive finance and insurance industry and has been for more than 40 years, serving over 3,700 automotive dealerships nationwide. JM&A also works with auto brands to ensure that their brand grows and is successful with auto dealers they do business with. Kia Motors is one of their partners due to their high standards for CPO vehicles.

According to a press release by Kia Media, the CPO program administered by the JM&A Group only accepts Kia vehicles that are five years old or younger with less than 60,000 miles on the odometer. Moreover, Kia Motors has a 164-point Quality Assurance inspection, or a checklist of items and conditions to be checked before confirming whether it meets the standards for a CPO vehicle – the inspection is conducted by certified Kia technicians for the most accurate survey and analysis of the vehicle. Following the inspection and any required service, if applicable, the CPO program then offers a 10-year /100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty and 12-month /12,000 mile-Platinum Coverage* to buyers of CPO vehicles.

By doing all of this, Kia and JM&A are able to put consumers worries to rest about the sometime uncertainties about buying a used car, especially one with a couple thousand miles on it.
