Jeep Announces the Return of the Vibrant Tuscadero Wrangler for 4×4 Day 2024
Exciting news for Jeep enthusiasts: Tuscadero is making a comeback for 4×4 Day 2024. The bold and vibrant magenta hue, which gained immense popularity upon its debut in 2021, is now an option again for the iconic 2024 Jeep Wrangler.
“Some 30,000 customers placed an order for Tuscadero when it first debuted in 2021. We’re always looking to deliver what our customers tell us they want, so we’re ‘tickled pink’ to bring back the highly sought-after Tuscadero paint shade on the Jeep Wrangler to mark 4×4 Day 2024.”
-Bill Peffer, Senior Vice President and Head of Jeep Brand – North America
Tuscadero joins a range of distinctive limited-edition colors like Gobi, Gecko, Chief, and Nacho, enhancing the customization options for the Jeep Wrangler and other models. The 2024 Wrangler boasts nine exterior color choices, including the newly introduced Anvil.
Available for order on various trim levels, Tuscadero comes with a U.S. manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $895. Initially, it may become available with a black hardtop, body-color hardtop, or black soft-top, with the Sky One-Touch powertop version set to be available later in Q2 of 2024.
In addition to the color update, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler introduces several enhancements, such as a full-float Dana rear axle, an 8,000-pound-capacity Warn winch, and improved towing capability. Interior features include 12-way power-adjustable front seats, a standard 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen radio, and standard side curtain airbags for added safety.
Powertrain options include a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6, a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine, a 6.4-liter V-8, and the plug-in hybrid 4xe, which delivers an impressive 21 miles of all-electric range and 49 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe).
The Wrangler maintains its renowned off-road prowess with a body-on-frame design, front and rear five-link suspension system, solid axles, electronic lockers, and the availability of a six-speed manual transmission alongside the eight-speed automatic option.
