The Dodge brand is known for providing exclusive body colors to bring further attention to vehicles that already have numerous ways to grab the spotlight on the road. As if driving a strong, full-scale muscle car wasn’t enough for some drivers, the addition of the Gold Rush body-color returning yet again for the 2021 model year is another way to stand out. Originally known as “Fortuno’s Gold” when the 13th annual SoCal LX Springfest came around in 2018.
The truth is the parent company of Dodge, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), looked at the sales and figured the success the Gold Rush tint had was good enough. The body colors that are available for the 2021 model year include Frostbite, TorRed, Go ManGo, Hellraisin, and Sinamon Stick. The Widebody package that includes 20 inch wheels are available for the Gold Rush color as well. Which other trims come with this golden body color?
Which Trims Come With the Gold Rush Body Color?
The 2021 Dodge Challenger offers the Gold Rush on the Challenger T/A, T/A 392, T/A 392 Widebody trims. The optional body color paint comes with some requirements including having a Satin Black hood, decklid, and roof. The black and gold theme is kept throughout the vehicle. Dodge loyalists could not get their hands on this Gold Rush for the 2020 model, but for the 2021 model year, this iconic body color has returned. We already know three new trims will eventually come to the Dodge muscle car lineup. The standard SRT Hellcat and SRT Hellcat Redeye trims are also available for customers to purchase.
“Dodge offers a wide variety of performance models and powertrains, but we also have the same mindset when it comes to our extensive exterior color options. By bringing back Gold Rush to a few of our 2021 Challenger models, we’re giving our enthusiasts yet another option to make their muscle car even more unique,” said Tim Kuniskis, Global Head of Alfa Romeo and Head of Passenger Cars – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America.
