Dodge reported they will add a new Charger and Challenger limited-edition cars with the “Swinger” nameplate. Largely like the new limited-time Shakedown and Super Bee Limited Editions revealed recently, the Swingers will be Scat Pack versions of the cars with special-edition perks and options. Dodge is showcasing the seven “Last Call” special editions that will be released ahead of its EV muscle car in 2024. We have also learned about the all-new Dodge Hornet plug-in hybrid that will be a hot item once production begins.

New Special Edition Dodge Muscle Cars Keep Comin’!

We’re excited to witness yet another new special edition; the 2023 Swinger Challenger and Swinger Charger are the third and fourth special editions announced so far in 2022. This news is arriving off the recently disclosed Challenger Shakedown and Charger Super Bee special editions. The Swinger name was taken from the famed 1969 Dodge Dart. Both Swinger options are set to be sold in both the Widebody variant and with Dodge’s Scat Pack. Owners gain a 485-horsepower 6.4-Liter V8 powertrain. Dodge is making these special editions exclusively limited to only 2,000 of these vehicles; 1,000 per muscle nameplate and this is the amount expected for each special edition. These are unique rides that are expected to gain a lot of attention * before Dodge moves into its EV movement * starting next year.

These new special editions come with these unique appearance packages that serve as a modern design based on the 1970s-era creation. They will arrive finished with badges, lush interior design including green-on-green exterior colors with gold accents and green stitching on the chairs, dash, center console, and steering wheel. Exterior paint options are F8 Green, Sublime Green, or White Knuckle, and a special “Gold School” badging will feature on the exterior to pair with a retro graphic on the rear fender. The Challenger Swinger will arrive with its sleek gold-painted Shaker intake hood and top-tier perks uncovered in the new 2023 Charger and Challenger muscle car alternatives.

For those expecting to see the whole set of the Dodge brand’s Last Call special editions, the next two special editions are coming on September 14th and 21st, 2022. The last and final “Last Call” edition will be shown during the 2022 SEMA show in November, Stellantis added in a statement to the press. Dodge has not announced any outlet on the prices on any of the special editions as it stands today, but the company reported the pricing would be released via dealership allotment particulars along with when orders should be ready for the Scat Pack Swingers and the rest of the Last Call muscle cars.
