The All-New 2023 Chevy Colorado Has Been Spotted – Miami Lakes Automall Chevrolet

July 22nd, 2022 by

The next-generation 2023 Chevy Colorado is almost here. The midsize pickup truck was recently spotted wrapped in camouflage indicating that Chevrolet will be introducing the next-generation Colorado soon. As of late, Chevrolet has been busy updating its lineup and working on its next EV, the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV . The automaker, like many others, has been aiming to produce EVs in an effort to offer non-carbon emitting vehicles. Alongside the Chevy Equinox EV is the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV which has been slated to offer 400 miles of battery range. While Chevrolet has been focused on its EVs, it’s clear that its combustion engine lineup remains a priority. We’ll take a look at the new 2023 Chevy Colorado and see what we can learn.

The All-New 2023 Chevy Colorado Is Coming

The 2023 Chevy Colorado was recently spotted wrapped in camouflage. Thankfully, this camouflage was body-hugging so we can actually speculate as to what new changes the mid-size pickup could arrive with. Spy shots of the wrapped pickup were taken from various angles and based on the photos, it seems that the camouflage Colorado was a Z71 model. This stems from the recovery hooks on the front, the off-road tires, and the higher ride height. This trim is a step down from the highest ZR2 trim, but it still offers high performance and capability.

From the spy shots, it seems that the new 2023 Chevy Colorado has a refreshed grille. The grille appears with a black finish and has a large crossbar that splits it into a dual setup. A polygon design appears at the sides of the grille and leads toward the center. There also looks to be tape over the grille which may be hiding the specific trim badge. Despite this, we can see a forward-facing camera located in the center of the grille.

Looking at the wheels, it seems the black finish is consistent throughout the rest of the pickup’s body. This lends the new Colorado a sporty but aggressive look. We’re not sure what will be underneath the hood, but the 2022 Chevy Silverado currently has a turbocharged 2.7L engine that’s capable of 310 horsepower and 430lb-ft of torque. We may see something similar in the 2023 Colorado. As for its rear, the mid-size pickup looked to have a revised quarter panel as well as a new tailgate. Chevrolet has not provided any information about the new 2023 Chevy Colorado, but we can expect it to be something fierce and powerful.
