All-New 2024 Chevy Silverado EV To Feature 400 Miles of Range – Miami Lakes Automall Chevrolet

The all-new all-electric Chevrolet Silverado EV is hoping to beat out competitors with its whopping 400 miles of battery range. The all-electric pickup truck will be Chevrolet’s second EV, following the Chevy Bolt. According to Chevrolet, the automaker wants to have at least 40% of its lineup consist of electric vehicles by the year 2025. This may seem bold, but the automaker has been steadily working toward new EVs like the Silverado EV and the Chevy Equinox EV . In producing new EVs, Chevrolet wants to ensure that they come equipped with high capability and performance. The Silverado EV is one of these as the automaker has said it will feature 400 miles of battery range, the most seen among current EV pickups. We’ll take a look at the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV and see what else consumers can expect.

2024 Chevy Silverado EV Will Outmatch Competitors

The all-new 2024 Chevy Silverado EV is slated to feature 400 miles of battery range. Currently, among all the EV pickups, this will be the largest battery range available. The all-electric Silverado will be built on General Motors’ new Ultium platform. The pickup will feature a dual-electric motor setup and will be available in two trims, a Work Truck (WT) trim, and a high-performance RST trim. The WT trim will be capable of 510 horsepower and 615lb-ft of torque while the RST trim will reach 664 horsepower and 780lb-ft of torque.

The 2024 Chevy Silverado will come available with a crew cab setup. Its exterior will feature a rather unconventional design as the EV pickup’s chassis is built around its battery pack. Its sail panel which is between the back of the passenger cabin and the top of the bed rail looks similar to the GMC Hummer EV. The pickup’s bed will feature dimensions of 5-feet, 11-inches in length, but with the mid-gate open and a configurable tailgate, this increases to 10-feet, 10-inches. The front end of the truck will be shorter to maximize driver visibility and increase passenger legroom. There will also be a frunk for extra storage space.

Inside the 2024 Silverado EV, owners will note a 17-inch LCD infotainment screen. There will also be an 11-inch instrument display with a head-up display on the windshield. As far as overall styling goes, the interior will likely feature a similar design to higher-end Chevy trims. With so much performance and capability, the 2024 Chevy Silverado looks to pose as a tough competitor for other EV pickups like the F-150 Lightning and Ram EV. For now, we’ll have to wait for its release date in 2023 to confirm whether it has what it takes to be the strongest EV pickup.
