GM Teases Chevy Equinox EV in Short Trailer – Miami Lakes Automall Chevrolet

Chevrolet recently released a short teaser video showcasing the all-new all-electric Chevrolet Equinox . The electric SUV is just one of the many EVs that Chevy is working on. Like many other automakers, Chevrolet has been working to produce a lineup of electric vehicles to help reduce global carbon emissions. The automaker has teased the electric Chevy Silverado and there have also been rumors of an electric Chevy Blazer . We’ll have to wait for more information about both, but for now, we’ll dive into the latest teaser video showing off the new electric Equinox.

Chevrolet Equinox EV Debuts

Chevrolet recently put out a teaser video for the all-new Chevrolet Equinox EV. The automaker had teased the new EV SUV earlier in the year at the 2022 CES show. There, Chevy showcased computer-generated renderings of the battery-powered SUV. Now Chevrolet is publishing a short teaser video depicting the SUV and its sleek design.

In the 30 second clip from Chevy, we can see that the Chevy Equinox EV has narrow and slit-like headlights that flow into the grille bar. The EV SUV seems to have a soft and round front end and hood. The front end appears friendly as though suited for families rather than aggressive. A charging port can be seen on the driver’s side front fender and the door handles are the pop-out style that seems to be common on electric vehicles.

Further along in the teaser video, we see the smooth and flowy sides of the Chevy Equinox EV. These wrap into the rear bumper which has the name Equinox stitched in grey metal. The ‘E’ in Equinox is the three-bar Ultium logo which alludes to the Ultium electric platform that GM is using for its EVs. The logo meshes well with the radiant blue color scheme of the SUV. Speaking of the color, it seems the Equinox EV has a two-tone paint scheme as the roof and A-pillars have a white contrast with the blue body.

The all-new Chevy Equinox EV is supposedly going to start at an MSRP of $30,000 (plus destination fee). We’ll have to wait for more details about the EV SUV, but based on the teaser video it looks to define a new era for Chevrolet.
