Truck Lovers Plea for RAM SRT Hellcat

Even if you have been living under a rock, you have probably heard a thing or two about the insanely powerful SRT Hellcat powertrain. For the time being, if you want to experience this engine you will need to purchase a four-door 2015 Dodge Charger or two-door 2015 Dodge Challenger.

Where there is power there are sure to be people who want more of it. And that is why a growing number of truck lovers are wishing and hoping for a RAM SRT Hellcat.

Can you imagine that much power under the hood of the RAM 1500?

There is nothing like the SRT Hellcat. With a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8, you never have to worry about having enough get up and go at your disposal. In fact, the only thing you have to worry about is limiting how fast you drive.

While the engine itself is well worth discussing, don’t overlook what the SRT brings to the interior of the vehicle.

With the four-door 2015 Dodge Charger and two-door 2015 Dodge Challenger, there is an SRT screen that displays a variety of settings, including but not limited to throttle response, traction control settings, and paddle shifter activation. And get this: there is a special “valet” setting that limits others from accessing all the power the SRT Hellcat brings to the table.

So, this leads to the big question: will there ever be a RAM SRT Hellcat ? For the time being the answer is no. However, don’t count this out just yet. There are quite a few people who want to see this happen, and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, RAM’s parent company, is always open to new ideas.
