RAM Debuts Limited, High-End Pickup Truck – Miami Lakes Automall Ram

February 20th, 2015 by

RAM may be known for its rugged, dependable pickup trucks that are perfect for hunting, hauling cargo or off-roading, but the brand has decided to class it up and make a luxurious pickup that’s fit for even the most discerning consumers. RAM dealers will have a lot to look forward to this summer with the new RAM Laramie Limited.

RAM debuted the Laramie Limited at the Chicago Auto Show Thursday to many oohs and ahs. The truck has a luxury trim package that includes features like all-black leather interior, genuine wood trim, and a new tail end. Officials refer to the truck as the “black tie alternative” to the Laramie Longhorn.

On the exterior, the 2015 Laramie Limited will drop the signature crosshair grille in favor of an all-chrome grille with nostril ports and bi-functional halogen project lights. This is the second model in recent history to feature the new, interlocking grille. The Ram Rebel, which debuted at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit last month, has the same grille.

Other exterior features include 20-inch rims, chrome door handles, chrome side steps, an updated tailgate with a chrome RAM badge, and chrome accent strips. An optional package includes polished chrome front and rear bumpers.

Exterior color choices include pearl white, brilliant black, granite crystal metallic, bright silver, maximum steel, red pearl and true blue pearl.

Interior features include soft leather upholstery, chrome-lined gauges and accessories, premium black carpeting, a hidden storage space for valuables, and more.

Buyers can choose between a 5.7-liter V8 HEMI engine or a 3.0-liter, V6 EcoDiesel engine. (The EcoDiesel is only available on four-door models.)

RAM dealers will start selling the RAM 1500 Laramie Limited in the second quarter of the year, but a 2500 and 3500 version will be available in the third quarter as 2016 models. The Laramie Limited will compete with models like the Ford F-150, Chevrolet High Country and GMC Sierra Denali.

Company officials have not set a price yet for the Laramie Limited, but said it would be priced near the top of the RAM collection. Industry insiders speculate on a price at or above $50,000, with potential to go over $60,000 with optional extras and destination fees.

As one of the top RAM dealers in Florida, Miami Lakes RAM is excited to get the 2015 RAM Laramie Limited on our lot. We invite you to take a test drive as soon as the truck arrives.
