Ram Unveils New Editions at the State Fair of Texas
Ram Trucks unveiled a new Ram 1500 Limited Black Edition and Heavy Duty Big Horn and Laramie Night Editions at the ongoing State Fair of Texas. The new models offer Ram buyers an ever larger selection of exterior accents and features, not to mention the ability of even greater personalization.
The Ram 1500 is the reigning Texas Auto Writers Association’s Truck of Texas and the truck maker is taking the new models and editions to new heights. The latest top-tier offering from the brand builds upon the already-existing luxurious trims adding more comfort, refinement, and technology.
“Along with increasing capability, technology and efficiency, Ram is always looking for ways to create more comfort and refinement for our customers. The new Limited Black Edition is another example of how we deliver the most luxurious pickups in the industry. Additionally, the new Heavy Duty Big Horn and Laramie Nigh Editions now offer an even wider selection of personalized content,” said Reid Bigland, Head of Ram Brand.
2020 Ram 1500 Limited Black Edition
Clad in black accents, including a blacked-out grille with R-A-M lettering, badging, tow hooks, premium LED headlamps, exhaust, grille surrounds and even blacked-out door handles, all come standard on the 2020 Ram 1500 Limited Black Edition. Other standard features on the Limited Black Edition include a tonneau cover, a sport performance hood, and 22-inch black wheels. Available in both 4×2 and 4×4 configurations, the 2020 Ram 1500 Limited Black Edition can be powered by the 3.0-liter V6 EcoDiesel engine, the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine, or the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine — depending on the buyer’s needs of course.
2020 Ram Heavy Duty Night Edition
Available on the Big Horn and Laramie trims of the Heavy Duty models, the Ram HD Night Edition joins the lineup for 2020. The package includes a monochromatic design accented with a blacked-out grille and body-colored surround, 20-inch wheels, and black badging. Even the heavy duty pickups equipped with dual rear wheels get in on the action with 17-inch black wheels with machined pockets. The tail lights and headlamps are accented by dark bezels and engine options range between the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 or the new-and-improved 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel engine.
Other Lineup Options
Ram Trucks offer buyers a long list of available options and upgrades, including the RamBox cargo management system and an innovative Multifunction Tailgate. The Ram 1500 and Ram 2500 models feature some of the segment’s best ride and handling thanks to an exclusive link-coil suspension that features five different ride heights. The 2020 Ram 1500 Limited Black Edition pickups are slated to reach dealerships during the third quarter of 2019, while the Ram Heavy Duty Night Editions should be arriving at dealer lots late in the fourth quarter.
