Ram 1500 (RAM)RED Edition to Pull Santa’s Sleigh at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade – Miami Lakes Automall Ram

Ram will be lending twenty of its Ram 1500 pickups for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The twenty trucks will be towing the numerous holiday floats during the parade. The Ram 1500 is the perfect choice for such a task given the capability, durability, and overall performance of the pickup truck. Others have shown recognition of these feats as the Ram 1500 was recently acknowledged as the best light-duty pickup of 2021 . It was also recognized as the Texas Truck of the Year . Now the iconic pickup will be participating in the 2021 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. A special edition pickup will be among the group, the Ram 1500 (RAM)RED Edition. This pickup will be joined by a Ram 1500 Limited Night pickup that will feature a Lego design. There will also be a Ram 2500 Power Wagon 75th Anniversary edition.

The Ram 1500 (RAM)RED Edition is a limited edition Ram that was created in partnership with the organization RED which was founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver to tackle HIV/AIDs. The Ram 1500 (RAM)RED edition will be representing the company. Automakers Ram, Jeep, and Fiat have also committed to donating a minimum of $4 million to the RED global fund through 2023 to help assist with emergencies. Alongside the Ram 1500 (RAM)RED will be a Ram 1500 limited Night and a Ram 2500 Power Wagon 75th Anniversary edition.

The Ram 1500 (RAM)RED is based on the Ram Night Edition but it gets some new features. One of these is unique red detailing on the front grille and side panels. It will also have custom center console badging. About being allowed the honor to tow the various floats during the parade, Ram brand chief executive Mike Koval Jr. said,

“As the brand that is ‘Built to Serve,’ the Ram Truck brand is honored to serve as the official truck of this iconic parade as our full portfolio of award-winning trucks pulls these floats down the streets of Manhattan,” Mike Koval Jr. said. “We are thrilled to have people return to experience this magical event in person as we continue to take great pride in aligning our brand with an iconic American event like the 95th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.”
