Now it seems the Ram 1500 is once again showing off its high capability and unmatched performance. The pickup was given several scores by MotorTrend which operates as an American automobile magazine. Alongside the Ram 1500 were its cousins the Ram 2500 and Ram 3500, all of which earned a top spot in their respective categories. MotorTrend also rated the truck on its performance giving it an 8.2 out of 10. Fuel efficiency saw a rating of 7.6 out of 10, technology saw 9.3 out of 10, and overall value was rated 8 out of 10.

The 2022 Ram 2500 also earned first place in the heavy-duty pickup truck category. It earned a 9.1 out of 10 overall. This heavy-duty pickup features an upscale interior and in terms of performance, it outshines most others in its class. It also offers impressive towing capacity as well as off-road capability due to its powerful engine options. For other ratings like performance, MotorTrend gave the Ram 2500 an 8.2 out of 10. For technology, it earned a 9.3 out of 10, and for value, it was given a perfect 10 out of 10. One of the downsides of the heavy-duty truck was its fuel efficiency which saw a rating of 5.5 out of 10.

The 2022 Ram 3500 was the third Ram pickup to earn first place in its segment. The heavy-duty truck took the top spot in the heavy-duty dually truck category earning an overall score of 8.8 out of 10.
