Kia Introduces Luxury K900 – Miami Lakes Automall Kia

While many customers come to Kia because the brand offers budget-friendly models, the manufacturer does not want to be known for cost savings alone. Now Kia is making an even bigger style statement by producing a luxury model of its own.

In 2015, Kia will sell the K900, a larger luxury sedan that will start with a sticker price of

$60,400. It will be Kia’s most expensive model to date.

The K900 is loaded with features, as customers would expect with a flagship vehicle in a new market for a brand. The engine will be a V-8 with 420 horsepower, which is more than the Lexus LS 460. It will also include an automatic transmission with eight speeds and three drive modes.

Interior features include leather seats, automatic climate control, panorama sunroof, wood accents, and a leather-wrapped dashboard. The K900 will include a GPS navigation system, a surround-sound system, power opening and closing trunk, heated and ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, and rain-sensing wipers.

Safety features include front and rear cameras and parking sensors, blind spot detection, alerts for rear cross traffic, a warning system for lane departures and eight air bags.

The sedan has four doors and rear-wheel drive, and it has a quiet ride. Kia is offering three years of free maintenance with the K900 (or up to 37,500 miles), as well as a 10-year warranty for the powertrain and five years for limited coverage (or 100,000 miles and 60,000 miles, respectively).

Though the pricing for the K900 may be a bit higher than what many Kia drivers are used to, it comes in far under the $73,065 price tag for the Lexus LS 460 or the $95,325 price for the Mercedes-Benz S550.
