The adventure never stops for Jeep as the brand recently launched a new campaign titled “The Road Ahead.” The :84 digital video is a continuation of the brand’s ongoing “The Middle” campaign, both aiming to celebrate 80 years of Jeep while looking forward to the future and all the innovation it entails. Jeep is destined to continue blazing trails for the next 80 years and beyond. “The Road Ahead” features images of historic Jeep vehicles as the voiceover reminds us it’s impossible to know where we are going if we can’t appreciate where we’ve been. Highlighting the brand’s brilliant past, the digital spot focuses on the electric future of Jeep as images of the all-new Jeep 4xe vehicles.
“As we celebrate Jeep’s 80th anniversary this year and look to the future, ‘The Road Ahead’ illustrates how we are proudly building on our rich heritage as we commit to making Jeep the greenest SUV brand. All Jeep models will carry an electrified option in the next few years and will take green and 4×4 technology to the next level,” said Christian Meunier, Jeep Brand Chief Executive Officer – Stellantis.

Additionally, Jeep also established Jeep.com/the-road-ahead so that interested parties can learn more about the brand’s vision for the future. There is plenty of video and image content available that provides consumers with glimpses into the brand’s electrified future, as well as concepts and ideas that go along with the brand’s main values of adventure, authenticity, passion, and freedom. Consumers can explore:
- The all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe, slated to make its debut in the second half of 2021
- Autonomous driving features, such as the hands-free Active Driving Assist feature, will be available on the all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee L late this year (2021)
- Solar-powered charging stations that’ll be strategically located throughout the Jeep Badge of Honor trails in order to support Jeep Wrangler 4xe owners
- Driver Safety & Security: Showcases new advanced technology features available on the new Jeep Grand Cherokee L, including head-up display, drowsy driver warnings and more
Jeep is also officially selling a custom collection of merchandise that’s tied into the campaign with an Americana theme and brand pride complete with an 80th anniversary badge, Jeep star, and “The Road Ahead” design. The 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is up first when it comes to Jeep electrification efforts throughout the U.S. The model is assembled at the brand’s Toledo Assembly complex in Toledo, Ohio and is due to begin arriving at dealers towards the end of the first quarter (2021). The 2021 Wrangler Sahara 4xe has a starting price of $47,995 (plus destination fee), while the top-tier Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe starts at $51,695 (plus destination fee). All prices exclude the available $7,500 federal tax credit, along with any additional available state and local credits. Terms and conditions apply according to your state of residence.
