The Sesame Street Gang Loves the Chrysler Pacifica

What’s more family-friendly thant gang from _ Sesame Street _ ? Nothing! That is why Chrysler and children’s show linked up for the new Pacifica campaign. The purpose of the campaign is to educate parents about all of the Pacifica’s 115 safety and entertainment features, so they partnered up with the gang that has been educating families for nearly 50 years to do so.

That was the first part of the four part series. In the video you see loved characters from _ Sesame Street _ easily using some of the Pacifica’s best features. Elmo uses the UConnect Theatre, Grover uses Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist, and the Cookie Monster uses the hands-free liftgate to load the cargo with plenty of cookies (of course!).

Here’s a little bit more about what each of those features is and how they work.

Uconnect Theater

The Uconnect Theater Package is an awesome way for parents and children to have fun in the car, whether on a road trip or the everyday commute. The Uconnect Theater Package comes with 20 Harman Kardon speakers, and two 10.1-inch HD seatback video touchscreens. Via Bluetooth streaming, WiFi or a USB port, users can play games, watch TV or watch movies. The package also comes with two pairs of wireless headphones, which makes it super convenient for people in the backseat to listen to the audio from the dual screens, and everyone else in the vehicle to listen to anything else.

Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist

This feature is a safety and convenience feature. With parallel and perpendicular park assist, a driver can sit back and let the vehicle steer itself into a parking spot. Once situated, all a driver needs to do is put the vehicle in park and turn off the vehicle. This feature is also particularly helpful for new teen drivers, too.

Hands-Free Liftgate (cookies not included)

Whether it’s pouring rain and you just want to get groceries into the car as fast as possible, or if you have too much too handle, the Pacifica’s hands-free liftgate is extremely convenient in all types of situations. When the key fob is in close proximity to the vehicle, all a user has to do is use wave their foot under the liftgate and it will automatically open.
