Chrysler Pacifica’s Panoramic Sunroof is Perfect for the Fourth of July

June 26th, 2017 by

How amazing does watching Fourth of July fireworks from a convertible sound? Reclined and relaxed in your seat with music on and fireworks from every direction. Sounds pretty great, right? However, for some people a convertible just isn’t practical because many convertible models are small and others are expensive, but there is another optio

The Chrysler Pacifica (a minivan) has an award-winning Tri-Pane Panoramic Sunroof and it gives all passengers (up to 7 or 8, depending on its configuration) an excellent overhead view, so it would be an ideal vehicle for viewing fireworks on the Fourth of July.

As the name implies, the Tri-Pane Panoramic Sunroof provides a pane of glass over all three rows of seats. The dual-pane above the front and second-row seats can be opened with the touch of a button, and the third-row pane is fixed, but it still provides a view of the sky above.

Worried about the panes being too hot in the dead of summer? The overhead glass is deep-tint glass and there are available power sunshades to keep the sun out when not in use.

The Tri-Pane Panoramic Sunroof isn’t the only feature that makes the Chrysler Pacifica awesome for the Fourth of July! Check out these other useful features:

  • Maybe you need less people space and more cargo space. Do you camp, fish, or set off a lot of fireworks on your own for the Fourth and need cargo space? The Pacifica has Stow ‘n Go seating, which makes it possible for users to fold the second- and third-row seats into built-in floor storage compartments and open up 140.5 cubic feet of cargo space.

  • Going on a Fourth of July road trip with the family? The Pacifica is also available now as a hybrid vehicle. The Pacifica Hybrid is equipped with a modified 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that is paired to dual-electric motors and a 16 kWh 360V lithium-ion battery. The Pacifica Hybrid can go 33 miles pure electric range and has a fuel efficiency of 84 MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent). So, you won’t be making a lot of stops at the pump.

  • Whether you’re road tripping, going to the beach, going on an outdoor adventure or chillin’ in the Pacifica watching the fireworks out of the roof, chances are there will be a little bit of a mess. Not to worry, the Pacifica is available with a built-in vacuum called the Stow ‘n Vac, and it is ready to clean whenever you need it!
