*About KISS 99.9 Stars & Guitars *
The KISS 99.9 Stars & Guitars concert is an annual concert put on by local country music radio station, 99.9 KISS Country. This years concert will be held at the Broward Center for Performing Arts and there’s a great lineup. There will be performances by country artists including Josh Turner, Randy Houser, Cole Swindell, Chris Janson, and Michael Ray. The event benefits and raises money for Joe DiMaggio’s Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida.
About the Performers
- Josh Turner is a country singer from Hannah, South Carolina. He signed his first album in 2003 with MCA Nashville Records, and has been producing hits ever since. You may know him by his songs _ Long Black Train, Your Man, Firecracker _ and _ Why Don’t We Just Dance. _ You can learn more about him on his website here.

- Next up is Randy Houser , a singer and songwriter from Lake, Mississippi. Since Houser’s signing with Universal South Records in 2008, he has produced many popular country songs. Some songs you may know him by include, _ How Country Feels, Runnin’ Outta Moonlight, _ and _ Boots On. _ An interesting fact that many don’t know about Randy Houser is he was a co-writer on the very popular Trace Adkins song _ Honky Tonk Badonkadonk. _ Check out his website here.

- Cole Swindell is also a country singer and songwriter. He is from Glennville, Georgia and he got his start in singing a performing just three years ago. He has released two records with Warner Bros. Records in Nashville, Tennessee. - Chris Janson is a singer and songwriter from Perryville, Missouri. Chris, like many other country artists, got his start by moving to Nashville. He has been active in the music game since 2009. For the first few years of his music career, Janson co-wrote songs for country music stars, while writing his own music as well. In 2015 is when his first song, _ Buy Me a Boat _ which was and still is a hit was released. Another song on the radio right now you may have heard by Janson is _ Holdin’ Her _ . - Last but not least is Michael Ray. Michael Ray was born is a young country music star (28 years old) who got his start in the music scene beginning in 2010 when he was just 22. Ray is signed with Warner Brothers in Nashville and has written and song several top hits. You may know him from his songs _ Kiss You in the Morning _ and _ Think a Little Less. _ An interesting fact about Michael is that the famous and popular country music star John Rich from the band band Big and Rich was his mentor.
