For starters, Miami Lakes has two of its own charging stations for use by customers for free. We will also be getting two more charging stations when our new Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram building is complete this winter. Located at the Miami Lakes Chevy building is a Voltec Level 2 charger located just inside the service entrance mounted on interior southern wall. There is also free WiFi available and Chevy Volts and ELRs have charging priority. The charging station is not accessible after business hours. There is also another charger located on north side of dealership, next to Miami Lakes Mitsubishi.
Two of the closest high power stations that have a DC fast charge hook up are located at the Miami International Mall and the Coral Gables City Hall. With the DC Fast Charging option, the Chevy Spark EV charges the battery to 80% in just 20 minutes.
When it comes to local businesses that offer charging both free or paid, there are a few options located within 10 miles of Miami Lakes Automall. There are charging outlets at St. Thomas University, Modera Town Center Apartments in Miramar and the Mall at 163rd Street in North Miami Beach.
