Ram Trucks Introduces Another Special Edition Pickup
Ram unveiled its next best pickup, the 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie Southwest Edition. The new luxury trim was designed with the largest truck-buying region in the world in mind. Designed to be exclusively sold in Texas and other neighboring states, the 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie Southwest Edition not only adds luxury features but popular appearance features as well.
“For nearly 20 years, Ram has recognized that Texas and America’s Southwest are the center of the truck universe. Ram was the first manufacturer to offer a Texas-exclusive model and the Lone Star Edition remains our most popular truck in Texas. Our new Laramie Southwest Edition adds the segment’s best combination of performance, capability, luxury and technology,” said Mike Koval, Ad Interim Head of Ram Brand, FCA – North America.
On the outside, the 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie Southwest Edition features body-colored mirrors, bumpers, and grille surround that help give the pickup a more streamlined and sophisticated appearance. Other accents include chrome highlights, grille inserts, chrome tow hooks, polished 20-inch wheels, and body side moldings. The Southwest Edition pickup even offers Power side steps that fold out of the way when the pickup is parked or on the move.
The interior of the Ram 1500 Laramie Southwest Edition offers buyers plenty of luxury and technology, and one unique feature. There’s the standard Uconnect 4C Infotainment system with an impressive 12-inch touchscreen, electronic trailer brake control, and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. Also included are advanced safety features such as Blind-Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path Detection, ParkSense Front and Rear Park-Assist with Stop, automatic high beam headlights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a remote tailgate-release. Buyers can choose between bench or bucket seats.
