Ram to release 2022 Ram 1500 BackCountry Edition – Miami Lakes Automall Ram

Ram has been rolling out new trims for the 2022 Ram 1500 one after another. With its recent performance, it’s no wonder Ram is working to improve upon the iconic pickup. Having released the 2022 Ram 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition in celebration of a decade of success, Ram is now focusing on another trim. This new trim is to be off-road-focused. It makes sense as Ram recently announced a GT upgrade package for the Ram 1500 Laramie and Rebel . Focusing more on off-road capabilities and performance, Ram is releasing the 2022 Ram 1500 BackCountry edition later in 2021.

2022 Ram 1500 BackCountry Edition

The all-new 2022 Ram 1500 BackCountry edition trim is to be based on the Ram 1500 Big Horn. The new Ram trim will combine Ram’s most popular packages to create a unique off-road pickup. Equipped with a four-wheel drive, the BackCountry trim will add the 4×4 Off-Road Group Package. This will include tow hooks, skid plates, off-road-tuned shocks, hill descent control, all-terrain tires, and a rear electronic locking differential. Ready to tackle any off-road obstacle, the 2022 Ram 1500 BackCountry is a tougher pickup than ever before.

Along with the Off-Road Group package, the off-road pickup will include Ram’s Bed Utility Group package. This will include upper adjustable tie-downs, a deployable bed step, a bed extender, in-bed LED lighting, and a spray-in bed liner.

The 2022 Ram 1500 BackCountry will come available with either the standard 5.7L Hemi V-8 engine or the 5.7L Hemi V-8 engine with Ram’s eTorque mild hybrid system.

What makes the 2022 Ram 1500 BackCountry special is the interior and exterior. Inside the off-road pickup is a black interior with bucket seats. A 7-inch infotainment screen is situated in the center console (though an upgradeable 8.4-inch Uconncet screen may be available), and a BackCountry badge is displayed on the instrument panel. The off-road pickup also comes with Mopar all-weather slush mats.

As for the exterior, this is where the 2022 Ram 1500 BackCountry pickup really shines. A combination of the Sport Appearance package and Night Edition gives the BackCountry trim a body-colored grille. Along with this are 18-inch black-painted wheels, black badges, black headlight bezels, black mirror caps, and black exhaust tips. The off-road pickup also gets running boards and a tonneau cover.

The 2022 Ram 1500 BackCountry edition will start at $41,780 MSRP (plus destination fee). The new off-road pickup will increase the versatility of the Ram 1500 series, furthering its success. It will be available in the fall of 2021.
