Ram Named the “Best Truck Brand for 2020”

U.S. News & World Report has handed Ram Truck its latest accolade — it named the pickup maker as the Best Truck Brand for 2020. The award, aptly titled “Best Vehicle Brand Awards” evaluates 35 different brands with the aim of recognizing industry-wide excellence in every segment, including cars, SUVs, trucks and other luxury vehicles.

U.S. News Best Cars determined award winners by averaging the overall score of individual automakers’ products in each award segment. Once the tallies were complete, the brand with the highest overall average score was named the immediate winner in the segment. Where do the overall scores come from? From the publication’s Best Cars rankings which are based on a combination of reliability data, consensus of the automotive press, and awarded safety scores.
