2016 Ram Heavy Duty Now Offered in 2500 Models

December 30th, 2015 by

Now offering more variations to the pickup segment, Ram’s Heavy Duty will now be offered in the 2500 models as well as the 3500. There will also be extra configurations to cabin and bed sizes offered.

As 2016 Ram 2500 ’s continue to flourish, so do their buyers wants and needs. Where Ram pretty much every third vehicle in Texas, pickups are inherently a vehicle of the working class and they intend to keep it that way. That is because this working class has earned its badges, worked hard and now wants a fully decked out cabin in top trims and all that luxury has to offer.

Wait, are we still talking about the Heavy Duty? The Ram truck that gets taken to construction sites and oil rigs and cattle farms?

Yes, that same Heavy Duty is now being offered in more trims and more configurations because more consumers demand it and when your audience is talking, it’s wise to listen.

Heavy Duty Now Sophisticated and Refined

As we’ve heard it time and time again, times they are-a changing and these days Ram trucks are a sign that you’ve “made it”, that you’ve succeeded and reached the top. Even though you may not get your hands as dirty as you once did, you still remember where you came from and you’re not afraid to call it part of your past. Your scars are your own and you wear them badges of honor.

_ You are a pickup driver, always have been, always will be. It’s just now, your pickup is a bit neater than it was before. And that’s okay. _

The highest trim model coming in the Heavy Duty 2500 Lineup is the Laramie Limited. Words that were once used to describe BMW’s and LandRover’s are now used on this Ram: opulence and sophistication. Eventually, we all could see it coming. As the newer generation rises up to have greater wealth than the previous ones, finer luxuries are expected. Feeling comfortable in a pickup doesn’t change because your annual income increases.

The interior of this Laramie Limited is designed to offer retreat, an escape from the day’s work. We all know that joy that comes when you get to finally get in your car and go. It’s a universal feeling of freedom, of getting away from the stresses at the workplace, regardless of it being in an office or oil field. We all can appreciate the superior craftsmanship of soft leather interiors, real wood accents made from Black Argento and how the organic feel of premium materials reflects positively on our moods.

Still Best-In-Class

Per a Heavy Duty Ram truck, power is certainly optional but never disappointing. Offering three engines: a 5.7L HEMI V8, 6.4L HEMI V8 and where would a Heavy Duty pickup be without a Cummins? Finally, a true Cummins 6.7L in-line six-cylinder turbo diesel engine rounds out the options.

Offering best-in-class ride and handling, 2500 drivers get to choose between two segment exclusive rear suspension systems: a five-line coil or air suspension system. While the five-link coil provides more articulation, the coil springs have proven they are more than capable of handling all that is required.
