Premium
The Premium trim, which starts at $34,900, is highlighted by the 3.3-liter V6 engine, a unit capable of producing an impressive 293 horsepower. The motor also delivers a sold 19 city/28 highway mile per gallon efficiency, meaning you won’t be dishing out a whole lot of money for gas. The unit is accompanied by a six-speed automatic transmission with Sportmatic.
Of course, the amenities don’t end there. Drivers will appreciate the eight-inch center display, allowing the occupants to access a number of different applications. The voice-command Navigation System can help guide the driver to their destination, and the SiriusXM Traffic service will help alert them of any delays. The system also includes the UVO eServices, which seamlessly integrates your Cadenza with your smartphone. This entire system is coupled with an Infinity Surround-Sound Audio System that includes 12 speakers.
There are plenty of other features that will help improve the vehicle’s safety and the driver’s comfort. The 10-way power driver’s seat means the car’s owner can have their own personalized comfort level, and the memory system will allow you to store a pair of presets. Meanwhile, the dual temperature control system will present the passengers with their own “individual climate zones.”
Finally, the vehicle includes the Back-Up Warning System. Using the built-in sensors found throughout the exterior, the Cadenza will alert the driver (via audible warning chimes) if they’re about to back into another object.
Limited
Starting at $43,800, the Limited trim offers everything the Premium trim includes… and a whole lot more. That means you can still appreciate the 3.3-liter V6, the eight-inch screen (and the accompanying apps), and several safety features.
Specific to the Limited trim is the inclusion of the Nappa Leather seat trim, adding an air of luxury to your new Kia. Drivers will also appreciate the heated steering wheel, which will make your cold morning drivers a bit more bearable. On the outside of the vehicle, drivers will receive LED fog lights and eye-catching 19-inch alloy wheels (with chrome finish). Engineers topped it off with hydrophobic glass, which improves your windshield’s ability to “repel” condensation.
A pair of technological safety features were included in the Cadenza Limited. The blind-sport detection system will alert the driver via a visual cue that a vehicle may be in their blindspot, thus preventing the driver from switching lanes and getting into an accident. Meanwhile, the Lane Departure Warning System will alert the driver if they’re swaying or not staying in their lane.
Both of the options are certainly capable, whether you opt for the affordable “Premium” trim or the fully-equipped “Limited” trim. With a variety of entertainment and safety technologies included, we’re certain that you’ll be happy with either choice.
