What’s in Store for the 2023 Jeep Gladiator?
When Jeep released the Gladiator pickup, enthusiasts said: “it’s about time.” To infuse Jeep’s legendary minted heritage of ruggedness, the automaker’s distinctive design, the “Go Anywhere, Do Anything” attitude, with endless functionality and utility inside one pickup, proves why everyone loves Jeep.
Underneath the hood of the 2023 Jeep Gladiator is the optional 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with engine stop-start (ESS) and a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel engine with ESS. The Gladiator includes a versatile box, a body-on-frame design, a front and rear five-link suspension system, solid axles, and electronic lockers. The Jeep Gladiator is in rare company because the midsize truck is one of few to offer a six-speed manual transmission. The Gladiator is more than capable of tackling * *the demands of an active lifestyle . Furthermore, the Jeep pickup delivers the freedom of the open-air experience synonymous with the automaker’s unique appeal.
Inside the 23’ Gladiator is a gang of technology features. For instance, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standardly equipped. However, our favorite Gladiator features come from the safety department. The Jeep pickup’s safety features include Blind-Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path detection, adaptive cruise control, and Forward Collision Warning-Plus. The Jeep Gladiator encompasses some of the best features of the midsize pickup segment, not to mention the truck’s impeccable off-road capability.
What’s New for 2023?
For 2023, the Jeep Gladiator premiers the special edition Freedom package . Additionally, the Freedom special edition offers custom capability enrichments and special exterior features. Some Freedom features to look forward to include Oscar Mike badging on the rear tailgate, LED headlamps and fog lamps, body-color fender flares, winch-capable steel front and rear bumpers, steel rock rails, black wheels, black accents, and an American flag decal along the vehicle’s side. Furthermore, the Jeep Gladiator Freedom Special Edition possesses leather-trimmed cloth seats and black accent stitching.
There’s also a new Capability Package exclusive to the High Altitude Trim. The new Package premiers winch-capable steel front bumper, steel rock rails, and a front off-road camera.
The Gladiator’s Willy trim attained some revision with new standard features such as proximity keyless entry, a 7-inch instrument cluster, remote start, and a garage door opener.
The Jeep Gladiator’s decal reveals the American flag on each front fender. Plus, the exterior color Snazzberry is no longer, thanks to the new exterior color, High Velocity.
