The Jeep Gladiator Embraces the Tuscadero Paint Option
The Jeep community made a request, and the automaker responded. The American automaker introduces the Tuscadero, a bold, rich magenta exterior paint color that first gained fame on the iconic Jeep Wrangle. It is now making its debut on the 2024 Jeep Gladiator, the world’s premier midsize truck for off-road capability. With a staggering 30,000 orders placed for Tuscadero since its 2021 debut on the Wrangler, it has become a standout choice among the lineup of vibrant, limited-edition colors such as Gobi, Gecko, Chief, and Nacho, enhancing customization and allure to Jeep brand vehicles straight from the factory. Tuscadero first appeared on the 2024 Jeep Wrangler last month and will hit dealership floors this summer.
“Our passionate Jeep fans asked for this limited-run color on Gladiator. We heard them, now Gladiator is both the only pickup to deliver open air freedom and the only pickup available in Tuscadero.”
-Bill Peffer, Senior Vice President and Head of Jeep brand – North America.
The 2024 Jeep Gladiator now offers a selection of eight exterior colors, including the newly introduced Tuscadero and Anvil for 2024, alongside various open-air freedom options, featuring three removable top choices, two removable door options, and a folding windshield.
Tuscadero is available for order until the end of the 2024 model year at a U.S. manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $895* (excludes taxes and destination fees) on Gladiator Sport, Mojave, and Rubicon models. The vibrant exterior color will expand to additional trims later this quarter and will be available in showrooms this summer (2024).
Engineered to be the ultimate off-road capable Jeep truck, the Jeep Gladiator combines a legacy of robust, reliable Jeep pickup trucks with an unparalleled blend of rugged utility, authentic Jeep design, open-air freedom, intelligent functionality, and adaptability. For 2024, the Jeep Gladiator offers increased capability, refinement, new technology, more standard safety features, and enhanced content at a lower starting MSRP than its predecessor.
New standard features for 2024 include first- and second-row side-curtain airbags, forward collision warning (on Sport S and above trims), advanced cruise control with stop (on Sport S and above trims), Uconnect 5 system with a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen radio, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Powered by a standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine delivering 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, paired with a versatile cargo box, the 2024 Jeep Gladiator offers unmatched capability with a maximum 4×4 towing capacity of up to 7,700 pounds and a best-in-class payload of up to 1,725 pounds.
The Gladiator secured the top spot for new-vehicle quality among midsize trucks in the J.D. Power 2023 U.S. Initial Quality Study (IQS).
