Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Hard Rock Limited-Edition

The limited-edition Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock is the Jeep that combines luxury and off-road durability. The Jeep Wrangler is already known as a top choice for off-road vehicles and features on the Rubicon Hard Rock take off-roading to an all new level. The Rubicon Hard Rock trim is available on both the Jeep Wrangler, a 2-door soft-top Wrangler, and the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, a 4-door hard-top Wrangler.

Engine Specs

The Rubicon Hard Rock comes standard with a 3.6-liter V6 24-Valve VVT engine and a 6-speed manual transmission, but a five-speed automatic transmission is also available. The 285-horsepower engine pushes out 260 lb-ft of torque and gets an average of 16 miles per gallon in the city and 21 miles per gallon on the highway.

Off-Road Systems

There are several features and systems on the Rubicon Hard Rock that make the limited-edition Wrangler trim ideal for off-roading, and one of these systems is the 4:1 Rock-Trac Part-Time 4X4 System. This system works by using a 4:1 low-gear ratio to deliver an extreme amount of torque while going up and down intense and sharp inclines like rocks.

4H and neutral positions are two positions that also help make the Jeep Wrangler trim a perfect off-road ride. The 4H position allows for a safe a smooth ride in snowy and icy conditions, and the neutral position allows the Jeep to be easily towed.

The steel bumpers in the front and the back as well as the Next Generation Dana 44 Heavy Duty front axle and rear axle provide additional safety and dependability for off-roading. The steel bumpers protect the Rubicon, while the axles have Tru-lock axle differentials that offer better traction.

Luxury Convenience Features: Interior and Exterior

Though the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock is a rugged off-roading vehicle, it is equipped with several luxury convenience features. The vehicle has an available remote start system, heated power exterior mirrors, variable intermittent windshield wipers. The Rubicon Hard Rock’s unique exterior features like 17” black rims, and rock rails by mopar, are both attractive and purposeful when off-roading.

To offer drivers convenience and luxury after a long day off-roading in intense conditions, Jeep has added in a variety high-end interior features. These features include Alpine Premium 9-Speakers and a 1-year complimentary subscription to SiriusXM radio. The Wrangler’s seating is upgraded leather-trimmed bucket seats and heated front seats. There’s also a full-length floor console that offers extra storage.
