Jeep Warrants Top Honors From Texas Auto Writers Association

The Stellantis family recently won top awards at the annual Texas Truck Rodeo (2023). The Texas Automotive Writers Association (TAWA) hosted the competition. Further, Jeep and RAM secured the most awards out of any manufacturer at the event, which is quite an impressive feat.

“Ram trucks brought their A-game again this year, winning several consecutive awards, including the Full-size Pickup Truck of Texas, and scoring the highest for overall personal appeal, which is significant because Texas is the truck capital of the US. We also enjoyed the lineup from the Jeep brand, with several vehicles that were the stars of their categories offering incredible performance, craftsmanship and capability.”

The Texas Automotive Writers Association (TAWA) members cast their votes after an entire day of on- and off-road vehicle evaluations, which included 218 drives along the event route. During the evaluations, TAWA assessed several aspects of the vehicles, such as their exterior and interior styling, off-road capabilities, overall utility, value, and performance. It was a thorough evaluation process that helped determine the winners.

Overall, Stellantis Brands had a fantastic showing at the Texas Truck Rodeo, securing nine awards in total. These awards were distributed across various categories, and the winners include:

• Mid-Size SUV: 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee
• Off-Road SUV: 2024 Jeep Wrangler
• Best Performance: 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392
• Best Feature Award: Stellantis Uconnect 5 Nav System
• Full-Size Pickup Truck: 2023 Ram 1500
• Off-Road Pickup Truck: 2023 Ram 1500 TRX
• Luxury Pickup Truck: 2023 Ram 1500 Limited
• Heavy Duty Truck: 2023 Ram Heavy Duty Rebel
• Highest Personal Appeal: 2023 Ram 1500
