Unique Technology Features on the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid
As hybrid vehicles grow in popularity, automotive companies are having to respond quickly with new and advanced hybrid features. The brand new Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid comes with unique and technology that exceeds expectations and help to make the ride more efficient.
UConnect
UConnect systems are standard across FCA vehicles, however, the UConnect for the Pacifica Hybrid is different than the Uconnect 5.0 and 8.4 systems in other FCA vehicles. The UConnect 8.4 in the new Pacifica Hybrid has “Access app.” The app is able to deliver key information to drivers like the the vehicle’s charge status, schedule charges, and also allows for remote locking and starting the vehicle. The app’s Send ‘N Go feature allows the driver to sends destinations from their phone to the UConnect navigation system (with active navigation subscription). The app is available for both Android and Apple devices.
Electric Pages
Hybrid electric pages allows you to access driving history including distance driven in hybrid or electric mode. The driving history is displayed on the screen in a graph for easier understanding. Electric pages also has a “power flow” features, which shows a dynamic illustration of how the power is flowing through the vehicle, meaning, is the power from regenerative braking, the engine, the battery, and so on. Finally, electric pages also allows the driver to schedule charge times.
Unique Information Cluster
The information in the Pacifica Hybrid is different than that of the one in the Pacifica fully gas powered model. There are a few aspects of the hybrid’s 7-inch cluster display you won’t find in the other Pacifica trims. These features include a battery and fuel levels, and the vehicle’s full range. Additionally, the instrument cluster has the “efficiency coach.” This feature shows the driver how efficiently they are driving, and what they can do to increase efficiency. For example, guidance on acceleration rated in regards to fuel economy, regenerative braking, and more.
