The 2023 Chevy Blazer: Refreshed With Better Tech – Miami Lakes Automall Chevrolet
2023 Chevy Blazer
The Chevrolet Blazer crossover has been gussied up for 2023. This up-to-the-minute SUV brings on some minute alterations that make a considerable difference. New changes include touched-up exterior styling, a new infotainment screen, updated wheel designs, and added goodies for the newest model year. These developments make more improvements on a nearly perfect product.
Externally, the funky and fresh Blazer gets the special treatment with a new front fascia and grille. The LED headlights have been tweaked and made over. There are new daytime running lamps that make use of the same lighting technology, and the taillights are a fresh feature too.
Chevy even offers a new list of available wheel sizes: 18-, 20-, and 21-inches. Potential buyers also have a new selection of paint colors, such as Fountain Blue, Sterling Gray Metallic, Copper Bronze Metallic, and Radiant Red Tintcoat.
From the inside, drivers and passengers are treated like kings, as the cabin has a new touchscreen infotainment display that measures out to an expansive 10 inches. This display serves as a standard on each and every model, it’s also considered to be an impressive upgrade from 2021’s 8-inch screen. New 2023 Blazer also gets a standard wireless charging pad for mobile devices, while RS’s also get a new interior hue dubbed Nightshift Blue.
Blazer shoppers have four trim levels to choose from: 2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier. An all-wheel-drive (AWD) system can be had on LT’s and Premier models, though a more developed twin-clutch AWD system is offered on RS models. Chevy also puts your safety first by expanding adaptive cruise control on lesser trims. There are also a great number of standard driver-assist features such as lane-keeping assist, automatic high beams, and forward collision alert.
Regarding what’s beneath the hood, there aren’t too many details. Two engines are offered, with the base being a 228-horsepower 2.0-liter turbo-four, while the 3.6-liter V6 speeds up to 308 horsepower. The V6 is reserved for the RS model but is available for 3LTs and Premieres. Both engines are paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Since its recent inception, the Blazer crossover has been regarded as a fashion staple in the automotive industry, voguing it out with rivals like the Ford Edge and Nissan Murano. It’s also quite versatile, with the 2023 model serving 30.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the back seats and 64.2 cubic feet with the 2nd-row seats folded.
At the current moment, we do not know the exact pricing for this vehicle. If all goes well, meaning that Chevy doesn’t face production delays or more hiccups from the ongoing semiconductor shortage, the 2023 Blazer should be heading to dealerships this summer.
