Consumer Reports Pick Their Best Vehicles

The Chevrolet company has introduced a mid-cycle advancement for its 2022 Traverse SUV (also dubbed a refresh). This full-sized 4-door crossover utility vehicle (CUV), comes with a slew of enhancements and changes. Recently, the review site, Consumer Reports named the 2022 Chevy Traverse mid-sizer as a top performer in the establishment’s road tests.

Road tests from Consumer Reports involve over 50 individual evaluations, with the concluding road test score baked into the car’s Overall Score. Each car that goes through a road test from Consumer Reports receives a score out of 100 possible points, specifically with a higher score that indicates a greater performance.

Regarding the 2022 Chevy Traverse, it received a road test score ranking it 95 out of 100, making it stand between Kia’s Telluride model (97 points) and Porshe’s 718 Boxster (95 points) with reference to Consumer Reports’ best road test results. BMW was able to reach the top of the list for its 7 Series model, specifically with 99 points. Remarkably, the C8 Corvette came in third with 97 points.

The 2022 Traverse SUV was also given by Consumer’s a score ranking it four out of five, which regarded its acceleration performance, as well as four out of five in reference to the performance on its transmission and five out of five for braking. Emergency Handling was also ranked three out of five.

Even more so, Consumer Reports was quite captivated by just how comfortable this year’s Chevy Traverse is.
