Chevrolet has enjoyed a good year for both innovative new vehicles and more acclaim for their craftsmanship. Chevy found success with their all-new 2019 Silverado 1500 and 2019 Chevy Trax. As 2018 draws to an end, let’s recap the latest Chevy vehicles that have come out. Let’s start with the all-new Chevrolet Silverado, a stunning example of one of the highlights in 2018 for Chevrolet. There’s something for everyone within the latest Chevy vehicles!

All-New 2019 Chevrolet Silverado

The newest Silverado from Chevrolet is an enhanced and well amplified light-duty pickup truck. The 2019 Silverado extended its bed size by 10 cubic feet from the former model and worked to claim the Best-in-class cargo volume, box length and box depth. Through the enhancement of their truck bed, new frame and overall interior, Chevy knew they had to name their truck bed to differentiate itself from other companies. They named the truck bed the Chevy Durabed and it is far more superior than what is offered from the competition in the pickup market. The Durabed is so strong it can endure 72518.9 pounds of pressure-per-square-inch, reaching over double the former Silverado rating from the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado truck.

Not only did the Durabed help raise the value of the all-new Silverado, owners have the choice of three available transmissions, (six, eight and 10-speed options). The Crew Cab models have increased the to over 500 pounds more with the maximum towing capacity up to 12,200 pounds with the 6.2-Liter V8 engine and four-wheel-drive. Owners will also have best-in-class box depth and box length at floor, with the standard box reaching 79 inches, 3 more than the Ford F-Series and Ram 1500. The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado starts at $29,795 MSRP (plus destination fee) for the base model Work Truck. The most valuable, superior 2019 Silverado High Country begins at $54,495 MSRP (plus destination fee). Thanks to the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, Chevy has attracted many new customers.

New 2019 Chevy Trax

Drivers looking for a compact SUV that delivers on speed and stays nimble will enjoy the 2019 Chevrolet Trax. The new 2019 Trax comes with two special edition packages; the Redline Edition and Midnight Edition. With 18-inch Black finish aluminum wheels and red accent stripes, black mirror caps, black grille with black surround, and front and rear black bow ties, the Redline Edition is the sharpest version of the Chevy Trax. The Midnight Edition is complete with a Mosaic Black Metallic exterior color,18-inch aluminum wheels, black beltline moldings and body-color tailgate handle. Three new colors were introduced for 2019, including Pacific Blue Metallic, Dark Copper Metallic, and Satin Steel Metallic and added a fresh Premier badge for the liftgate.

As a modern SUV, the 2019 Trax is outfitted to handle the competition in its segment with its six-speed automatic transmission is connected with the turbocharged ECOTEC 1.4-Liter DOHC engine optimized with Variable Valve Timing (VVT) to produce 139 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque. The VVT helps owners gain excellent gas mileage as the Trax helps drivers gain 25 city and 33 highway MPG. Owners love the reasonable cost of just $21,300 MSRP (plus destination fee).

All-New 2019 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison

Perhaps the best addition to the Chevrolet lineup was the 2019 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison, a brand new off-road pickup made with the help of American Expedition Vehicles. Complete with 5 new standard skid plates that give undercarriage protection to preserve the engine oil pan, fuel tank, transfer case, and both differentials. These skid plates are long-lasting because they are made out of hot stamped boron steel. With this security, owners of the new Colorado ZR2 Bison can feel protected going off-road. New front and rear bumpers are made of steel with the front bumper holding sharp fog lights and the rear lights having attachment ends for recovery.

The new 2019 Colorado ZR2 Bison has new extended fender flares, and unique grille that shows off the Chevrolet name. The Bison has a sleek style throughout with badges, the ZR2 Bison logo on the sides of the truck bed with the AEV logo on the headrests inside the truck and the logo is on the back of the tailgate. Fresh 17-inch wheels with 31-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires are included as every ZR2 Bison pickup is powerful enough to handle the rigors of off-road traveling.
