You Might See (or Hear) These New Chevrolets in Miami
Don’t be surprised if you see a new Corvette driving down the streets in Miami. Chevrolet has released two awesome new 2017 Chevrolet Corvette models and you are bound to see them rollin’ down Biscayne or Ocean Drive. And after you see one, there is a good chance that you may be the next person with a new Chevrolet Corvette in Miami.
2017 Chevy Corvette Stingray
The Chevy Corvette Stingray was officially released in 1963, and the 2017 model is just as beautiful and it is more powerful. From the little details in the design and style to the extra performance features for handling and power, the new Corvette Stingray is a true beast.
Equipped with a 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine under the hood, that produces 460 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque and helps the Corvette Stingray to achieve its impressive acceleration of 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds.
To help reign in all of its horses, the Corvette Stingray is fitted with performance features like electric power steering, Brembo brakes, Michelin Pilot Super and Sport Zero Pressure tires. The Corvette Stingray also has features like an aluminum space frame, low beams with a single light engine, edge-lit LED turn signals framed in black chrome housing, four-element taillamps, high-mounted stop lamp, and an aerodynamic rear spoiler all give it a stealth yet sleek appearance.
2017 Chevy Corvette Grand Sport
For the 2017 model year, Chevy brought back the limited-edition Corvette Grand Sport. Also developed in 1963, the Corvette Grand Sport has made various appearances as a limited-edition Corvette model over the last 43 years. Like the Corvette Stingray, the Corvette Grand Sport also has a 6.2L LT1 V8 engine, capable of 460 horsepower and 465 lb.-ft. of torque, but it has an even more impressive 0-60 mph time of 3.6 seconds.
Created as a true race car, the Corvette Grand Sport has serious body designs that help it to cut through the air as it races around the track. The Corvette Grand Sport has a lower design and a dry-sump oil system which efficiently delivers oil even in the most intense cornering. The Corvette Grand Sport also has wider fenders for wider tires and a unique front fender that helps control air flow around the car.
Additionally, the 2017 Chevy Corvette Grand Sport is available in a special Collector’s Edition model. This model includes heritage-inspired touches including fender hash marks, blue stitching and an exclusive Watkins Glen Gray body color.
