Not only is the interior comfortable, but highly adjustable with 12-way power adjustment and heated and ventilated front seats.
In the High Country Chevrolet, drivers are equipped with an infotainment system that is highly rewarding. Chevy MyLink with navigation is standard equipment as is a Bose audio system, and enhanced wireless charging. The 2018 Chevy Silverado High Country provides a driver alert and assistance package that includes lane-keeping assist, low-speed forward automatic braking, front and rear parking assist, forward collision alert, and Intellibeam headlights that automatically switch between high and low beams as traffic conditions change.
Not only is the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado High Country luxurious and smart, but its also powerfu. Drivers have up to 9,400 pounds of towing capacity and 355 horsepower with the 5.3-liter V8 base engine, and there is the available 6.2L V8 engine that produces up to 420 horsepower.
Beginning at $52,000 MSRP (Plus destination fees) this is one luxury truck that stands out in the market.
If you’re not looking for a high end luxury pickup, that’s fine, too. We carry the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 that doesn’t have to any fancy names attached to be superior to other trucks on the road. Even the standard base model is far more equipped than you might realize.
2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (Standard Features)
Standard features for all 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 trims now have standard rear view cameras, teen driver mode, active aero shutters, and a tire air pressure monitoring system. With a starting price of only $28,300 MSRP (Plus destination fees) you don’t have to break the bank to get into one.
The standard 4.3-liter V6 engine produces 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque with a maximum towing capacity of 7,600 pounds. With good overall fuel economy of 18 city and 24 highway with two-wheel drive, the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado is impressive in both fuel economy and performance.
Teen driver mode allows parents to program a selected key fob to restrict certain activities and report others. If you’re worried about a teen driver not having their seat belt on, the radio won’t work unless all seat belts are fastened. Driving reports can be generated as well to inform parents on what the vehicle did at any point in time. All Silverados including the base WT trim now have MyLink infotainment systems with available 7-inch diagonal color touchscreen.
2018 Chevrolet Silverado (Higher tier engines)
The 5.3-liter V8 produces 355 hp and 383 pound-feet at 4,100 RPM. Chevy has not published the fuel economy figures for this engine without eAssist. With the eAssist Powertrain, however, the 5.3-liter V8 equals the fuel economy of the V6, 18 mpg in city driving and 24 mpg on the highway, with two-wheel drive. Properly equipped, the 5.3-liter V8 can tow up to 11,100 pounds.
If absolute maximum towing capacity is a must have, choose the 6.2-liter V8. This 420 horsepower engine produces can easily pull the Silverado 1500’s maximum of 12,500 pounds. The EPA mileage estimate is 15 city and 21 highway MPG.
