2024 Chevy Blazer EV Sees Reduced Pricing
Chevy will be reducing pricing for the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV. This price reduction comes after the automaker paused sales of the all-electric mid-size SUV due to software issues. Chevy says it has made significant software updates to improve any issues that owners were experiencing. The automaker is resuming sales of the Blazer EV with a steep price reduction between $5,000 and $6,500 depending on the desired trim. This reduction plus the newly revised U.S. EV tax credit makes the 2024 Blazer EV an even more affordable EV. We’ll take a closer look at the mid-size SUV and see what consumers can expect. Â
The 2024 Chevy Blazer EV Is Even More Affordable
The 2024 Chevy Blazer EV is back on sale and this time it arrives with steep price reductions. After pulling the all-electric mid-size SUV for software-related issues, Chevy is once again offering the Blazer EV. The automaker paused sales of the electric SUV to make significant software updates. Having corrected various issues like charging and driver-assist features, the 2024 Blazer EV is back and better than ever before. Chevy also added some new features like ambient lighting and a revised digital gauge cluster. As a way to entice consumers who may have reservations about purchasing the Blazer EV, Chevy is offering the mid-size SUV with reduced pricing.Â
Consumers interested in a 2024 Chevy Blazer EV will be happy to know that the mid-size SUV now starts at an MSRP of $48,800 (plus destination fee). Chevy reduced pricing for the base LT trim, but those consumers looking for increased performance and additional features may want to consider the RS trim ($53,200) or even the SS (about $60,000). These higher-tier trims provide customers with more powertrain options such as dual motors and all-wheel drive. The highest tier SS trim delivers 557 horsepower and features a 0 to 60 mph time of just 4 seconds. Of course, the interior also sees additional features like a sporty two-tone color scheme.
In addition to the reduced pricing, consumers can also expect to take advantage of the newly revised U.S EV tax credit. This new credit applies to those EVs that are powered by batteries sourced completely from North America. The 2024 Chevy Blazer EV matches this criteria and as such comes available with a $7,500 tax allowance. With the new changes, customers who purchase the Blazer EV would be able to use the available credit immediately rather than having to wait until the following year for a tax return. Thanks to the reduced pricing and new tax credit, the 2024 Blazer EV proves to be an affordable EV with a lot to offer.
