Ram Unveils Second Installment in Built-to-Serve Line
Ram has announced the second installment of its Built to Serve Lineup. Inspired by first responders, this new Ram 1500 trim will contain materials and features that aid first responders like police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel. The Built to Serve Lineup seeks to honor those individuals who are always giving to others. The latest Ram emergency medical services (EMS) truck aims to recognize the hard work of EMS personnel. About the ‘Built to Serve’ Lineup, Ram brand CEO Mike Koval Jr. said,
“The Ram 1500 Built to Serve EMS edition is our way of honoring and expressing deep gratitude to the frontline heroes who serve or have served our country,” said Mike Koval Jr. “At Ram, we are pleased to recognize the important work emergency medical service workers provide to their communities every day.”
The latest Ram 1500 EMS trim will be offered with either a Hydro Blue or Bright White exterior color. It will also have a black interior with blue accent stitching. These colors evoke the spirit and history of the EMS personnel. The pickup truck will also have stylish exterior cues like an all-black grille, black bumpers, black-bezel premium lighting, and 20-inch aluminum wheels. There are also black side steps, body-color wheel flares, and a United States flag and Built to Serve decal on the rear quarter panels.
Inside the Ram 1500 EMS, first responders will note embroidered velcro panels on the front seats for badging. Owners can apply their own patches or flags to personalize their pickup trucks. The front seat-back panels also offer pouch webbing that allows additional equipment to be stored. Ram will begin production of the second installment of Built to Serve trucks in the fourth quarter of 2022. They will start at an MSRP of $54,915 (plus destination fee).
