Highlights for 2025 Mitsubishi Motors North America Lineup

August 8th, 2024 by

Mitsubishi Motors has a lot of plans for the next few years in the North American auto market. Mitsubishi Motors North America announced its new “Momentum 2030” business strategy for the rest of the decade, and it seems like a lot of new concepts are coming back updated for the place where technology in cars is now. Mostly still SUVs and Crossovers after the Mitsubishi Mirage was discontinued, but that puts a stronger focus on what the automaker has to offer. Here are the highlights for the 2025 Mitsubishi Motors North America lineup.

2025 Mitsubishi Outlander

The 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander has been reaping the benefits of the new generation the most, setting new records for the automaker. Going into 2025, the Outlander comes with a mid-cycle refresh to give the SUV a more modern style now that SUVs are pulling all the weight. A new look brings some changes to the front and rear fascia, and more luxury material options are going to be introduced for the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander. With a launch date set for the first quarter of 2025, January to March 2025, we’ll get more details about this three-row, seven-passenger SUV in the coming months, so be sure to follow us on Miami Lakes Automall social media.

2025 Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid

Now that Mitsubishi Motors will be introducing new battery-electric vehicles with Ampere, the transition from gas to a plug-in just seems like the more practical option. Not only do plug-in hybrids offer a much greater range and fuel economy, a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) offers the option to gas up every time, and charge up when you can. The 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV gets some premium updates in 2025 with standard front heated seats on all trims, with the option of a heated steering wheel and panoramic sunroof available on select trims. Powered by a twin motor system on the front and rear and a 20-kWh drive battery, the Outlander Plug-in hybrid has an EPA-rated for 38 miles of all-electric driving range (AER), and 420 miles of overall driving range. Add in Mitsubishi Motors’ Super-All Wheel Control twin-motor 4WD system, and it’s a powerful PHEV to contend with.

2025 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross

The 2024 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross has seen a refresh in style during its first years, but the model has seen its rebellious phase with the introduction of a Black Edition that darkens all components and badges of the Eclipse Cross. In 2025, the Black Edition comes with a revised front lip and rear spoiler to add more than just a black paint job and emblems to the style of this package. In the current times, Mitsubishi Motors is gaining more modern technology with Mitsubishi Connect and other car-connected services. Made for performance, the 2025 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross also comes standard with Mitsubishi Motors’ signature motorsport-derived S-AWC all-wheel drive system! Neat.

2025 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport

The younger, sportier trim of the lineup is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. Designed with an adventurous spirit in mind, of course this SUV comes with Mitsubishi’s All-Wheel Control (AWC) system to tackle various driving conditions. Bringing all the style of the original Outlander to a smaller, bolder SUV. More information will be released for this model as well as we get closer to a launch date.
