Kia Wins Three Awards on Cars.com “2024 Best Value New Cars” List
The spring of 2024 is in full swing, but we still have a long way to go before the end of the year. That leaves plenty of time for automotive journalists and publications to comb through the best vehicles available on the market and let consumers know what they think. One well-known publication is Cars.com. Trusted by consumers all over to search for and read about new cars, used cars, and get some insight from an outside source, Cars.com is a great place to learn about the best cars available on the market. Lists like their “2024 Best Value New Cars” list is just an easy way to put all the best cars on one page for consumers – such as the Kia Forte, Soul, and all-electric EV6.
“The Forte, Soul, and all-electric EV6 recast the value equation in their respective segments, offering consumers innovative features without a compromise,” – Steven Center, COO & EVP, Kia America
When it comes to Cars.com, becoming a winner and landing on the “2024 Best Value New Cars” isn’t a stroll through the park. To determine the winners, Cars.com experts and editors take a look at the most affordable new-car models currently available on the market and evaluate them based on seven categories. Already, we know Cars.com is looking out for consumers and their pocketbooks when “most affordable” is a part of the criteria. Cars are evaluated based on their value for the price, as well as what features they offer and fuel economy. Only the best vehicles make it to the list, and Cars.com covers a variety of vehicles: compact cars, subcompact SUVs, compact SUVs, compact pickups, midsize pickups, full-size pickups, and battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) or EVs.
For 2024, the 2024 Kia Forte sedan paved the path to land on the “2024 Best Value New Cars” list. Wining first place, the Forte is currently in its third generation, and it wouldn’t be the first time the sedan has landed on a Cars.com list. Bold in style, and a hallmark of Kia’s lineup of sporty sedans, the Forte was one of the first to show what a Kia sports car looks like, but it certainly isn’t the last. Winning a place on the Cars.com “2024 Best Value New Cars” list, it’s almost ironic that the Forte is soon going to be replaced. During the 2024 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS), Kia revealed the new Kia K4 sedan. Said to be the sporty replacement for the tired Forte, this wouldn’t be the first time Kia took an old car and brought it back with a new name and a new look – the Kia K5 was the most recent, replacing the Kia Optima.
Always funky and fresh, the 2024 Kia Soul also landed on the list and won second place honors. Blending form and function, the Kia Soul busted the market wide open with its original boxy look. Truly deserving a spot on the “2024 Best Value New Cars” list, the Soul comes with a list of standard and optional equipment that add to its value. Winning third-place honors in the Electric Vehicle (EV) category is none other than the all-electric 2024 EV6. Changing the way consumers look at BEVs, the EV6 accelerates and performs like a sports car. The first all-electric vehicle with no gasoline predecessor by Kia, the EV6 has given rise to other favorites, like the Kia EV9 all-electric SUV.
