Driving and Handling

Engineering jumps around a bit for the 2024 Kia Forte, and so does fuel economy. The LXS and GT-Line have a shared fuel economy of 28 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway. The GT trim transmits power through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and delivers a fuel economy of 27 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway. The GT can also transmit power via a 6-speed manual transmission and delivers a fuel economy of 22 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway.

2024 KIA FORTE Technology

All trims are capable of Google Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth wireless technology. Only trims after the LXS come with Kia Connect, a wireless phone charger, access to SiriusXM Satellite Radio, and navigation. Only the GT-Line and GT with dual-clutch can use the Kia Access App to pre-cool or heat up the car before entering. The LX and LXS play the tunes through a 4-speaker audio system, whereas the GT-Line and GT with dual clutch have a 6-speaker sound system, and the GT with manual comes with a Harman Kardon premium audio system with 8 speakers and a subwoofer (available add-on for the GT-Line and GT with dual clutch).
