Kia K900 Named Most Satisfying Vehicle by Auto Pacific
Kia consumers are speaking out about their love for their vehicle and it’s making waves at your Miami Kia dealer.
Vehicle Satisfaction Awards
Earlier this month Auto Pacific held its 19th annual VSA, Vehicle Satisfaction Awards. With no one brand sweeping the awards, the Kia K900 did win the Most Satisfying Overall Vehicle as well as placing first in the Luxury Car category.
The VSA’s are based on surveys responses from over 66,000 vehicle owners of the 2015 model year of new cars and trucks. The responses measure how satisfied the owner is with their new vehicle.
This information is then used to determine customer satisfaction with said vehicle as well as identify the most satisfying vehicles on the market.
K900 Also Wins Presidents Award
The Kia K900 won not only Most Satisfying Overall Vehicle as well as placing first in the Luxury Car category, but because of all its points combined, it received the Auto Pacific President’s Award while setting a new record high.
A President’s Award is only given when the overall score tops the previous President’s Award holder’s score.
In the 19 year history of the VSA, this is only the third time the President’s Award has been given, so for it to have been awarded to a vehicle in its first year is quite impressive. Previous receivers of this award have been Mercedes S-Class in 2014 and Hyundai Sonata in 2010.
Kia won altogether in five categories with three other vehicles. Winning Best Large Car: Kia Credenza. Best Compact Car was a tie between Kia Soul, VW Jetta and VW Beetle. Best Compact Crossover SUV went to Kia Sportage.
Kia Customer Satisfaction
Little more is necessary to prove that Kia is developing vehicles that are standing up to competition as well as impressing consumers.
While it’s lovely to win awards, what is always going to keep the manufacturer on top is customer satisfaction. Winning consumers accolades should be the desire of every car maker.
Taking into consideration the owner’s experiences with the vehicles quality and safety as well as the personal gain and overall feeling that a new car brings are what the VSA’s look to capture in their surveys.
That information is going to give the manufacturer more information about how the consumer is responding to their product. The fact that Kia is winning not only in many categories but as the overall best is extremely telling to the kind of quality they are producing.
It should also serve as a signal to be sure to keep an eye on them. With marks like this, we can continue to expect great things from Kia!
