Renegade Trailhawk – Made For Much More Than The Road
The Jeep Renegade is a compact SUV that was first released in 2015. Though the Renegade still has Jeep’s signature seven-slot front grille, it has a style and design that is fairly different from other Jeeps. Unlike the Wrangler or Grand Cherokee, the Renegade doesn’t look quite as rugged, but actually one Renegade trim, the Renegade Trailhawk is Trail Rated and it is one of Jeep’s best equipped models for off-roading.
Off-road features and safety
The Renegade Trailhawk is the only Renegade trim that comes standard with Jeep’s prime off-road features like a 4×4 drivetrain and a 2.4-liter Tigershark engine paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission.The Renegade Trailhawk is equipped with Active Drive Low, the Trailhawk’s signature red tow hooks, and extra skid plates and a raised ground clearance to protect the underbody of the vehicle.
That isn’t all, there are also some interior and exterior features that make the Renegade Trailhawk as capable of an off-road as other Jeeps, like the Wrangler. The Renegade Trailhawk rides on 18-inch steel wheels wrapped in all terrain tires offer a smooth off-road ride, and in case of a flat, a full-size spare is there. The Renegade Trailhawk’s interior is also well-equipped for off-roading as it has features like a rear backup camera, and a cluster that displays tire pressure monitoring help keep off-road drivers as safe as possible.
