Jeep Now Offers the 2020 Wrangler Rubicon Recon Edition
Jeepers will be excited to learn that Jeep is bringing back the Wrangler Rubicon Recon edition to the SUV’s iconic lineup. The 2020 Wrangler Rubicon Recon is powered by an efficient and powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine with eTorque mild hybrid technology. Although the Recon edition is based on the Wrangler Rubicon trim, it also features its own unique exterior and interior perks.

2020 is the first model year that the popular Rubicon Recon edition is available on the JL-generation Wrangler. Inside the cabin, enthusiasts will find a Jeep trail bag, PUR-wrapped mid bolsters with red accent stitching and red seat belts. Changes are more noticeable on the exterior, as the Wrangler Rubicon Recon features a gloss black grille with body-color surrounds, a Recon fender badge, front and rear steel bumpers with bumper loops, LED headlights and taillights, headlamp inserts, heavy-duty rock rails, and Rubicon gray grille throats.
Wrangler Rubicon Recon models also feature next-generation Dana front and rear heavy-duty axles, a two-speed transfer case with a 4:0:1 low-range gear ratio, and enhanced off-road rock rails. Buyers can also enjoy a disconnecting front sway bar, electric front and rear locking differentials, and 33-inch Falken Wildpeak Mud-Terrain tires — taking this Wrangler to the highest level of performance and prowess.
The Wrangler Rubicon Recon is available in Black, Sting-Gray, Billet Silver, Granite Crystal, Bright White, Hellayella, Firecracker Red, Bikini, Ocean Blue, Sarge, and Punk’n. The two-door Wrangler Rubicon Recon has a starting MSRP of $43,380 (plus destination fee) while the four-door version has a starting MSRP of $46,880 (plus destination fee).
