Will Dodge Announce A Challenger Alongside New Charger?
We are in the process of a new overtaking for Dodge. This March, we will learn of the unveiling of the brand new generation Dodge Charger muscle car. Will this be a combo deal? This new Dodge collection will carry electric power and set up a large-scale growth of the Dodge brand. According to Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis. Talking to Muscle Cars & Trucks, Kuniskis said that there will be more suitable Dodge products to be presented before long to fill the slot that their cars will vacate. No word has been said regarding the Challenger. Dodge has tons of loyal followers to move the brand into this new generation they are set to go into.
“I will tell you that it’s more than today. And not even a little bit more than today. By the way, we’re going to share our future long-term plans with our dealers early next year. And we would love to believe that all this stuff is top secret when we do it, but it’s not,” said Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis told the publication.
Charger Will Represent the Best of Their Brand
Kuniskis added that Dodge’s long-term future plans are to be exposed to the dealers next year. He also anticipates that these plans will be leaked though he sounded like he’s okay with that transpiring. As for what will be revealed in 2024 to join Dodge’s model lineup, that’s still a few weeks from fully knowing at this point. A full-size rendition of the Charger is expected to be introduced, as well as next-generation, electric engine-powered muscle cars that will be built on the new platform. And what of the Durango? Will this be produced on a STLA Large architecture?
The production version of the recently introduced electric muscle car, previewed in the newest Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept, should also reach showrooms in 2024. Keep in mind, we know there will be several arrangements of this “eMuscle” car. The details show the brand will have varying power outputs depending on the model. Don’t forget the Dodge Challenger might have had its last run with the 2023 Dodge Challenger. The Challenger gained a manual transmission for the current 2023 model year.
