Meet Foley, the PacifiPuppy and Face of the Give a Dog a Job Campaign
A few weeks ago we mentioned the Chrysler and BraunAbility’s partnership to make the BraunAbility Pacifica, a minivan that is affordable and wheelchair-accessible. Well this week Chrysler, introduced their partnership with Canine Companions for Independence and the new campaign “Give a Dog a Job” and the face of the campaign is the adorable PacifiPuppy, Foley.
The Canine Companies for Independence is the largest non-profit organization for assistance dogs in the United States and all companies involved hope this campaign will help raise awareness and support to provide assistance dogs for children, veterans and adults with disabilities.
Chrysler will be using the hashtags, #RaisingFoley and #FoleyFriday, on Facebook , Twitter and Instagram and people will be able to follow Foley as he transforms from puppy to trained service dog. Here are some milestones people will witness along the way:
- Vet visits
- Training and learning of basic commands.
- Interaction with other puppies at the puppy park and learning commands in puppy class.
- Introduction to the person who the pup will be assistant as well as the acclimation process to that person’s home.
We encourage you to engage, participate, follow and spread awareness of the “Give a Dog a Job” campaign.
