Congratulations are in order once again for both the Chrysler Pacifica as it continues to rack up accolades over the years. This time around, the Pacifica earned a spot on Consumer Guide’s Automotive Best Buy Awards., taking home top honors in the minivan category for the fifth consecutive year. Consumer Guide editors are responsible for selecting the 2021 Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy Award winners after comparing, analyzing, evaluating, and extensively testing all the major automobile models available in the United States.

The revamped 2021 Chrysler Pacifica now lets buyers have a crack at all-wheel-drive capability, along with a new top-tier Pinnacle trim, and is lauded as the vehicle with the most standard safety features in the industry. Consumer Guide editors recognized the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica for its “class-leading horsepower, excellent road manners and ride quality, and an unmatched array of family-friendly features… all wrapped up in a stylish package.”

Consumer Guide Automotive editors are responsible for analyzing, comparing, and finally evaluating numerous vehicles by testing all major models available for sale in the United States. According to the publication, a vehicle does not earn its Best Buy status based on objective ratings only, as vehicles with a Best Buy designation also have to distinguish themselves as better values when compared to other vehicles in their respective class.

2021 Chrysler Pacifica

The redesigned 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is the only vehicle in its segment to offer all-wheel-drive paired with Stow ‘n Go seating, along with 97 standard safety features — the highest number of standard safety features in the industry. Lane Departure Warning, Rear Park Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control with Full Stop, Electronic Stability Control, Blind-Spot Monitoring, LED lights, Rear Cross Path Detection, Pedestrian Automatic Emergency Braking, Full Speed Forward Collision — all highly-desired advanced safety features that the Chrysler Pacifica offers as a standard.

The Pinnacle of Luxury — Literally!

Chrysler focused on practicality when it reintroduced the Pacifica in 2017, but the automaker made major moves over the years to tip the scale more towards the luxury side of things. A move planned to match market demands more than anything, the updates are a far cry from the traditional and more budget-conscious minivans of the past — think the fleet-friendly Dodge Grand Caravan for example.

To separate the Pacifica as a luxury-oriented model, Chrysler introduced the all-new Voyager minivan, which is itself a scaled back minivan based on the entry-level Pacifica. The introduction of the Voyager made room in Chrysler’s lineup to cement the Pacifica as a luxury people mover. The new Pacifica Pinnacle trim will be the one to help Chrysler upmarket its minivans. The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle has unique finishes and accents that cannot be found on any other models.

Although the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica won’t roll across dealer lots until the beginning of 2021, that doesn’t mean interested parties can’t enjoy what the current model offers now.
