Chrysler and BraunAbility Created a Wheelchair-Accessible Pacifica

Chrysler is back at it again with yet another feature setting the Pacifica way ahead of other vans in 2017. At the Chicago Auto Show Chrysler showed a new Pacifica with a never-seen-before build, it had a wheelchair-accessible body.

The name of the new model feature is ““BraunAbility Pacifica” and it was developed by Chrysler and BraunAbility, a leader in the automobility industry. The new Pacifica model has a unique design referred to as AccessAbility and its patent is pending.

The BraunAbility Pacifica has many features to ease the process or getting in and out of the van, as well as being comfortable while in it. The minivan has features like a larger interior space, and a wider door opening with a wheelchair ramp.

Of course, there are other wheelchair accessible vehicles out there, but there is a pretty large common problem amongst those vehicles, they are expensive. So, Chrysler is doing what they can to combat that problem.

To help lessen the cost of their wheelchair-accessible Pacifica, Chrysler is offering up to a $1,000 reimbursement for costs related to necessary mobility features.
