Chrysler Imperial, 1926-1993
Where to being with the Chrysler Imperial? It was apart of the Chrysler lineup for an unbelievable span of almost seventy years, taking on many forms during its time in the sun. Though it emerged as a rival for the Cadillac, the Imperial quickly took on a life of its own over course of seven generations. The Imperial pictured above is from 1971.
Chrysler Newport, 1940-1981
For over forty years, the Chrysler Newport ruled the roads. The Newport was known its recognizable hardtop body design. It was also the lowest priced vehicle in the Chrysler vehicle from 1961 to its discontinuation in 1981. The low price made the Newport quite popular for a number of years. A shift in popularity favoring smaller cars with front-wheel drive ultimately brought an end to this memorable Chrysler model.
Chrysler Cordoba, 1975-1983
Now here’s a Chrysler model for the real vintage fan! The Cordoba was historic because it was the first Chrysler model to be specifically produced for the luxury market and it was also the first Chrysler model to be less than full-size. A true trailblazer in every sense.
